Creating Stylish Text With Microsoft Office 2007

By creating text as art in Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and in the outlook editor, you can produce some spectacular effects that really enhance the look of your documents. It will allow you to twist your text into strange and wonderful shapes, and then insert the result into your object as an object. Creating this stylish text is called WordArt, and once mastered, you will be able to influence and alternate your text into three-dimensional configurations and odd shapes.

Firstly, you will need to go into the insert tab and click the word art button. This will display the gallery. Within this gallery, you will need to select the style of your choice, and select it. After you have done this, a text dialog box will appear, in this you will need to specify a font, font size and any character emphasis you want. This formatting will apply to all the text.

When you have done all of the above, type your text into the box. Remember that word art text does not wrap automatically. This means you have to press enter to start a new line. If you wish to transform existing text into word art, select the text before clicking the word art button. When finished, simply press OK and it will apply the changes you have made.

Although the way that you create stylish text is a bit different in some of the Office programmes, the method and end results are very similar. Through using word art, you can spice up your documents and make them look that much more appealing and interesting.
