Sony VAIO VPCL135FX - A Powerful All in One PC

We have recently bought a Sony VAIO VPCL135FX specifically to test and review it. At first we though it would do well, perhaps better than some of the other systems we have tested. We were in for the surprise of our lifetime! After quickly installing our new all in one, we proceeded to test it. The results surprised us and we have to agree with what Sony has to say about their product - Power, Performance, and Versatility. Let's review some of its key features.

We will start with Sony VAIO VPCL135FX's main processing unit. The Intel Q8400S quad core processor, working at a dazzling speed of 2.66 GHz, on an L3 cache of 4 MB ASC, and on a Front Side Bus (FSB) of 1333 MHz is actually the definition of power. One can run a server on one of these processors! Well, who disapproves of the extra power? Next, the 6 GB (three sticks of 2 GB each) of DDR 2 Random Access Memory (RAM) working at a good speed of 800 MHz provides enough power and speed. However, we would have hoped for more. Well, at least we can always upgrade to 12 GB maximum. Sony VAIO VPCL135FX's hard drive, a 500 GB 7200 rotations per minute (RPM) unit provides enough space and speed for most of its users. The Nvidia GeForce GT 330 M graphic processor has 1 GB of dedicated video RAM and is quite potent, being able to output a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, full HD, on VPCL135FX's amazing 24-inch touchscreen display. In our tests, graphics were beautiful and vivid, and the video card scores 8/10.

Other useful features of the Sony VAIO VPCL135FX are the Intel High Definition audio system (featuring the innovative Dolby home-theather v3 technology), integrated Stereo A2DP (with 2.1 and EDR technologies) Bluetooth technology, 1000 Base-T Gigabit Ethernet protocol, 802.11 b/g/n integrated Wi-Fi, memory stick PRO (featuring both standard and duo capabilities) media slot (benefiting from the Magicgate technology), integrated camera and microphone (featuring the innovative and fun face tracking technology), i.LINK connection, Bluray support (although just read-only BD-ROM), and wireless keyboard, and mouse.

When purchasing a Sony VAIO VPCL135FX, you get the following very useful free software: an original copy of the Microsoft Windows 7 Home operating system working on 64 bits, Norton Internet Security 2010 antivirus with just 30 days of free trial, Sony's own Creativity Suite, Microsoft Office 2010 (Starter edition), and a few other system maintenance and support tools. You also receive one year limited warranty, online and email support, one year in home service warranty, and one year toll free telephone technical support. Not all we have hoped for, but enough for most users.
